1]. All natural materials are subject to their natural markings, veining, variations in colour, etc. and no claim on this account can be made.
2]. When samples have been submitted exact resemblances of the product supplied to the sample cannot be guaranteed.
3]. Any descriptions of material offered are guidance only and do not imply suitability for any particular purpose.
4]. All Thickness quoted are nominal and no liability is accepted for reasonable variations of whatsoever nature.
5]. It must be clearly understood that, deposits are not refundable for goods made or cut to the client’s specifications, and in the event of a cancelation prior to template a charge of 20% of the total price will be deducted from the deposit.
6]. All prices stated are those ruling at the date of the price list and / or for the period for which the price list is valid and are for current stock held at the date of your written order.
7]. The ownership of all goods delivered to the purchaser pursuant to our price list shall remain with the seller until payment in full has been received for these goods and / or services and for any other goods delivered by the seller to the purchaser pursuant to any other contract.
If the purchaser resells any goods delivered pursuant to this quotation by way of a bona fide sale at full value or otherwise, the proceeds of such sale shall be held by the purchaser as trustee for and to the account of the seller until such a time as the seller shall have received payment in full for all goods delivered by the seller to the purchaser whether pursuant to our price list or any other contract under which the seller has delivered goods to the purchaser.
8]. The risk in all goods supplied shall pass to the purchaser upon completion of the delivery or fitting.
9]. The seller reserves the right to dispose of all goods the ownership of which is reserved to the seller pursuant to clause 7, if not paid for in accordance with the terms of the quotation and if such payment is overdue in whole or in part the seller may be its servants or agents (without prejudice to any of its other rights) recover and re-sell the goods or any of them and may lawfully enter upon the premises of the purchaser or any place to which he has delivered or consigned them for that purpose.
10]. Notwithstanding any terms for payment agreed, payment for all goods delivered shall become due immediately upon the commencement of any act or proceeding in which the solvency of the purchaser is involved.
11]. If these terms and conditions are in variance with or inconsistent with any term or condition contained in the purchaser’s order, then these terms and conditions shall prevail and be effective.
12]. It must be clearly understood and accepted that we cannot be held responsible for any delays and / or time off work of third party contractors / tradesmen and client dependent on our job being completed. Our times of delivery and / or completion are approximate, and are subject to change as unforseen difficulties / delays can occur due to the nature of the material. We will not accept any responsibility whatsoever for damages of any kind if they are not pointed out in writing in the section ‘clients comments’ of our satisfaction note prior to us leaving the clients premises.
13]. If the Client supplies their own templates or employs their own sub-contractor(s) to do the templates, the templates provided must be as follows:
The template material must be MDF, which must be of no less than 9mm thickness. All templates must have the following information clearly indicated on them:
a) Top surface.
b) Polished sides.
c) Wall sides.
d) Joins.
e) Cut outs.
f)Total number of templates provided
i.e. 1 of 2, 1 of 4, 3 of 4 etc.
g) Draining grooves.
h) Tap hole position and size of tap hole.
i) Client name.
j) Material i.e. granite or marble.
k) Commercial name of the material.
In the event of an under mounted sink the relevant cut out for the sink should be precise and the inside edges of the cut out must be accurate and smooth because the machine follows the template and the cut out in the granite / marble will be exactly as per template.
If the above requirements are not met and we have to work on the clients templates in order to correct them an additional charge will be incurred according to the amount of the work required.
Please note that we do not cut the granite or marble curved, we can only cut it in straight lines, therefore if any relevant walls are bowed or uneven the wall has to be chiselled for the granite to fit straight.
14]. A minimum 50% deposit must be paid at point of order and full payment shall be made at point of template unless otherwise previously agreed in writing.
